As a native speaker, having grown up in Colorado, USA, I can offer you a deeper understanding of connotations within the language, and exposure to a native accent.

I have always loved languages. As a child, reading and writing in English were already—and still remain—a passion of mine. I feel deeply connected to language, and the power it has. As I got older, my interest extended to foreign languages. I began learning German in high school and am now a fluent speaker. I recently decided to go back to my Czech roots and am currently learning the Czech language. Additionally, I have spent time learning basics in Polish and Ancient Hebrew. As an avid language learner, I know what works and what doesn’t when it comes to both learning and retaining progress in the target language.

I am happy to teach and tutor English at all levels. If you’re a beginner, we can get started with the basics, delving into the rules as a strong basis, but focusing on speaking-after all, that’s the goal! If you are a more advanced speaker, we can get into more complex grammatical structures, as well as getting away from a textbook, and into practicing speaking and reading on a more practical level. Additionally, I am a professional musician, and can offer training in English music terms—a resource I wish I’d had when learning German!
